Your money is held in escrow
When you buy a fixed-price spot, the payment is captured and held by BidMyBody. It is not forwarded to the creator until you have seen footage from the event and approved it, or until the review window closes.
Bids only place a hold
When you bid on an auction spot, your card is authorized but not charged. If you are outbid, the hold is released immediately and you are never charged. Only the winning bid is captured when the auction closes.
When you get a full refund
You are refunded in full if the creator does not attend the event, does not wear your advertisement, does not submit footage, or if the event itself is cancelled. Report a problem within the review window and we will investigate.
The review window
After the creator uploads footage you have five days to approve or dispute it. If you do not respond, the spot is treated as delivered and the creator is paid. We email you when the window opens and before it closes.
Processing fees
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Card processing fees may be retained by Stripe on captured payments; authorizations that are released cost you nothing.
